Event Description

Often, we take for granted the importance of building connections and cultivating a sense of community in graduate school life. While a fruitful and vital endeavor, creating and sustaining a sense of connection and community can be challenging. In our hope to speak to these challenges, we will discuss strategies and practices we use to build a sense of community in graduate school. We consider topics like civic engagement, health and wellness, and student advocacy. From this panel, you will walk away with a deeper awareness of your community and practical strategies to create lasting connections within your community.
