Event Description
We often take for granted the importance of building connections and cultivating a sense of community when searching for the right career. However, much of the success in finding the right career involves navigating the hidden curriculum of the job market. In our discussion, we consider the importance of community as we unearth the hidden expectations associated with the job market and how to acclimate to a new work environment. In addition, we consider topics like strategies for building one’s professional network, crafting one’s job materials, navigating the interview, and cultivating success during the first few years of your career.
