Bio/Description
Carli Kovel graduated from Emory University in 2018 with a degree in chemistry. After her graduation from Emory, Carli was awarded the Bobby Jones Scholarship to pursue a Master of Science in Catalysis at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Currently, Carli is a PhD candidate in chemistry and materials science at Princeton University. Her research interests include the synthesis of chemically recyclable polymers and bioderived jet fuels. She is currently the Vice President of the Women in Stem Leadership Council and has enjoyed planning events and working with her peers to improve the experiences of graduate students in STEM fields. Carli is also the Communications Director for graduate student government.
