Jenny is an absolute champion for all of her students, inside and outside of her department, and she has devoted time, effort and energy to improving the climate for graduate students from minoritized backgrounds- from the recruitment stages, to the admissions process, to retention.

As one of the founders of the Princeton Prison Teaching Initiative, Jenny has spent countless hours bringing quality education to incarcerated individuals, who are disproportionately people of color. And with this. she has continually demonstrated an ongoing passion for empowering the most disenfranchised members of our society through education.
